Derrick
worked with Dave full time from 1983 – 1989 while attending the
University of Maryland and upon graduation was made a partner in the
company. With a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics, accompanied by
certificates in accounting and finance, Derrick went on to successfully
attain his Certified Public Accountant designation. Derrick continued
his professional education becoming a Certified Financial Planner (CFP),
an Investment Advisor Representative.

Derrick provides us with the expertise to guide businesses and
individuals toward their financial goals through management advisory
services, as well as tax, estate and financial planning. In addition,
Derrick has also achieved the Advanced Master Florist Manager (AMFM)
designation from FTD. As an AMFM, Derrick works with and helps our
floral clients grow their business. Derrick’s other responsibilities
include marketing, managing the transition process for new clients,
setting up or revamping financial systems, software installation / setup
and corporate and individual tax returns. Working hand in hand with our
clients, Derrick provides an analysis of their business and personal
position and enables them to achieve the goals they establish. In his
spare time, Derrick enjoys golfing, soccer, playing bass guitar and
spending time with his family.
